With CoPilot Live 7 you can create your own personalised navigation system with a choice of colours, welcome screens and map styles. It is possible to record your own voice commands for the ultimate in personal navigation! You can create and share additional colour schemes, favourite routes, and custom Points-of-Interest databases with others via the Internet using CoPilot Central desktop companion or via the CoPilot Live web site.

CoPilot Live 7 is a fully connected navigation system. Live traffic information and avoidance is optionally available for all customers, while CoPilot's unique Live Location Tracking has been made easier to use than ever before. It is now possible to send a tracking invitation directly to a Microsoft Outlook contact from within CoPilot, enabling the recipient to view your location, send messages, and even enter new destinations in real-time, via a secure web site. It’s also possible to send the location, ETA, and intended destination via SMS or a map of the current location via MMS.

CoPilot Live reports its position using the GPRS Mobile Internet. The service itself is free of charge, although you will incur charges for the GPRS data from your mobile operator. With GPRS, you only pay for the amount of data that is downloaded rather than the time spent connected.
