This product is designed to give you an instant Ethernet port for network connectivity. If your computer does not come with an Ethernet Network Interface Card or you're unable to install one, the NP1020 can use an available USB port to convert it into an Ethernet connection. Also ideal for notebook users where there is no Ethernet port installed.
